After I ran the Western Australian Customs (Border Force) Detection dog unit, we were approached to train and deploy truffle detection dogs in Manjimup, Western Australia. We then set up a truffle dog training and deployment business based in Manjimup. We very successfully hunted for numerous truffle farms through the South West. After many years of hunting in WA, we moved to France where we hunted in the wild forests of France in the European winters. This, along with our extensive Australian plantation experience, has placed us in a unique position to be able to train and deploy truffle detection dogs and assist all experience levels of both dogs and handlers.
